GWO BST has been called “driving license for wind turbines”, Basic Safety Training is a combined training of four modules. It is required from all people working in on-shore wind turbines. Refresh training is faster than training for new workers.
GWO BST WAH refresh contains:
Theory – legislation, roles, responsibilities, risk management and basic rules of work in wind turbines.
Fall protection equipment available in the industry, incl. daily check needs.
Practical training starting from basic use to rescue exercises and scenarios.
If Manual Handling module is done earlier and certificate valid it will also get updated. First Aid and Fire Awareness are refreshed separately.
Target group: all profecionals working in windturbines, minimum 18 years of age, maximum weight with equipment 140 kgs, normal physical condition, no illnesses preventing work or training.

- Own equipment: not required, but own PPEs can be used if they are suitable for training and have valid inspection
